What you may send

• Messages your recipients expect: notifications, replies and updates they asked for or agreed to.
• Content that is lawful and follows WhatsApp's own terms and policies.

What you may not send

• Spam, or unsolicited bulk or marketing messages to people who did not agree to receive them.
• Fraud, phishing, malware, harassment, or anything illegal.

Limits and enforcement

Accounts have instance and daily message limits. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or its numbers at risk. A suspended account cannot sign in or send.

Your number

WhatsApp may restrict or ban numbers that send unwanted messages. You are responsible for the numbers you pair.
